Volunteering at PAL Yonkers during the school year:
PAL Yonkers offers many opportunities for those who would like to donate their time and energies to help support our local youth through our after-school programs.
Volunteering for PAL Summer Programs:
Pal Yonkers has many youth programs for the summer season. From summer learning programs to sporting events – there is always a way for you to make a difference at PAL and enjoy a really fun summer helping local youth.
PAL Yonkers is able to reach its full potential in aiding the youth of Yonkers, NY thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of its dedicated volunteers.
Every year PAL relies on the generous support of individuals, like you, to fulfill the day-to-day needs of our many program participants. Our volunteers are called upon to serve as mentors, tutors, special events assistants, teachers and/or sporting event support. Together with our staff, the Yonkers Police department, and the law enforcement community, we can not only make a difference in the lives of local youth – we can help steer them on the path to fulfillment, self-reliance in society, and complete confidence.
Our variety of PAL initiatives include:
- Mentoring programs for young men and women
- Summer Learning Program / Trips
- Sporting Events
- Back-to-School supply drives
- PALbotics Science education programs
